Nestled on the stunning Ventnor Seafront, Besty & Spinky's has been delighting locals and tourists alike since 2006. Founders Allen (Besty) and Michael (Spinky) brought their passion for great food and warm hospitality to this purpose-built eatery after running a popular cafe on Ventnor Esplanade for over half a decade.
In 2023, we were honoured to receive the Isle of Wight County Press Café of the Year award. Co-owner Allen Best said, "The whole team are absolutely delighted. Life down here on Ventnor seafront is never dull and we have a wide range of customers with parents and their children using the paddling pool, local builders wanting their big breakfasts, and of course lots of tourists enjoying the ‘Ventnor Micro-climate’; to have their approval ratified by this award is very satisfying. Adjacent to our cafe, you'll find the famous Isle of Wight Paddling Pool and the Ventnor Cascades. The paddling pool features a model of the Isle of Wight, perfect for children to explore and play on, while the Cascades offer a beautifully landscaped garden with a charming waterfall feature – an ideal backdrop for family photos.
